WORKSHOP

This is a shot using a long take. In filmmaking, a long take is a shot with a duration much longer than the conventional editing pace either of the film itself or of films in general.

This video had multiple shots used. Shots such as Long shot, Close shot, Extreme Close shot etc...

In this video we had to do planning a video for 15 minutes then get onto filming for 45 minutes then we will edit for 60 minutes on Final Cut Pro.

This is a warm-up shot taken as an experiment to see our skills from the start of Level 2 Creative Media.

Today we did manual focus where we need to make the shots focused on the subject. I need to practice more because the manual focus is really useful in filmmaking because you can make things stand out more and that is going to improve our shots a lot.

In the first scene, the only improvement that we need is the lighting because you can see the difference in light in the middle of the frame I should have done the two shots right after each other so there is no light difference. And I should have rehearsed the scenes before recording them so I know exactly what to do without mistakes

In the second scene, the lighting is a bit better because the camera is not pointing at the window so there is not much light difference however you can still see the line in the middle of the screen so it needs the same improvement which is rehearsing before shooting.
